About the BIA

What is a BIA?

BIA stands for "Business Improvement Area."  

Weston's BIA

The Weston Village BIA was incorporated in 1979 and currently has 164 member businesses, including restaurants, retailers and professional offices.

In addition to its normal Business Improvement Area activities, the WVBIA runs three community events during the calendar season including:

  • The Weston Farmers' Market Opening, held from the first Saturday in June until the last Saturday in October.
  • The Weston Santa Claus Parade held end of November.

The Weston Village BIA is funded solely by member levies, stall fees from the Weston Farmers' Market and Corporate Donations and Sponsorships. For more information on the WVBIA, please contact the co-ordinator @ 416.249.0691 or by email to admin@westonvillagebia.com.
