Weston Farmers' Market

The 2010 Weston Farmer's Market will run from Saturday, May 15, 2010 to Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Green P Parking Lot at 16 John Street, a few blocks east of Weston Road.  The official opening with speeches, live entertainment, and rides and games for the kids will take place on Saturday, June 12.

The Best of Weston Multicultural Festival and Sidewalk Sale

Celebrates the people, cultures and businesses of Weston Village

The First Best of Weston Festival is set for  Saturday, August 28 from 10.00 a.m to 8.00 p.m. with a giant sidewalk sale, world class entertainment and food representing our main cultural groups, bouncing castles, clowns, jugglers, and live perormances for the young and young and heart.  There will be something for everyone and we hope to involve all the  businesses and agencies that serve  the Weston community in some way.

The main stage bands will start their performances at 12 noon until 8.00 p.m. at Little Ave Park, off Weston Road, north of Lawrence and our Kid's Zone, clowns, buskers and other entertainment will be located at 1765/1775 Weston Road as well as entertainment on John Street from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.  Check out the Festival website in the next few pages.

31st. Annual Santa Claus Parade

The Annual Weston Santa Claus Parade 2010 is scheduled for Sunday, November 28th, starting at 2.00 p.m until 3.30 p.m. This is a change from previous years as we always held the parade on the week after the Toronto Santa Claus Parade, which always held its parade on the second Sunday in November.  However, this year, they're hosting it on Sunday, Nov 21st which is when we would usuallly have ours.  The parade starts at Weston and Church and winds up at Sidney Belsey Crescent. Start thinking now about your entry for the parade as the floats and walking groups in the 2009 Parade were amazing. The website for the Parade will be up in mid August and you will be able to find all the forms for entering a float, volunteering in the parade or making a donation to the costs of running the parade.
